Serum Intensive
Perfecting Essence and Serum rely on a number of common ingredients, they both have Vitamins C & E, soybean (protein in Serum) (and soybean germ extract, in PE). SERUM INTENSIVE vs PERFECTING ESSENCE
I wanted to get this review to you as close to the Perfecting Essence report as possible so you have the information on both products. Especially when so many of you ask, what is the difference between the
two products? You should always remember to ask your prospect their skin type, because no matter how wonderful the Serum Intensive product is, not all skin types like Dry and
Sensitive Skin can use Serum when they first start on the Sensé products. If you forget to bring this up, you are risking the loss of what could have been a great customer or Associate.
Don't forget though, that Serum can be used by anyone for spot dotting on Acne sores. Now please
note I said dotting on! The earlier we can get Acne prone clients able to use Serum fully on
their face, the quicker we can help them control their Acne, but you don't throw them in full force,
unless you are sure they can use the Serum without problems. We are not here to cause more inflammation,

I view the Sense products as a system. Each one does something different, and each will have a different but coordinated and beneficial effect on the skin. Therefore on general skin care all should be used I believe.
Now, testing the Sensé effect on healing wounds, I would suggest a protocol something like this: (This applies to sutured areas )
1-2 days after surgery----cleanser only
After sutures removed.---cleanser, rinsed, dried and followed by toner
After 5 days of this---cleanser, toner and daytime protective (if on face, neck, hands or arms.)
After about 3 weeks from surgery--Also add serum intensive in evening on face and neck, followed by the night cream.
This would need to be modified some for other types of wounds such as after laser resurfacing, or dermabrasion.

ENERGIZING SHOWER GEL
Body cleansers, just like products for our face, should contain gentle non-detergent foaming cleansing agents that are excellent for all skin types. This invigorating gentle soap free formula gently exfoliates your skin, while ingredients like sorbitol leaves you with that soft velvet texture.
Exfoliating your skin from the neck down is just as important as exfoliating your face. It helps the skin absorb moisturizer better, unclogs the pores (especially on your back), and allows healthier skin cells to surface. Vitamins, proteins, amino acids all help skin, but in your shower gel you also need antibacterial and anti fungal ingredients, and Echinacea, Centella (which also has wound-healing properties) refines and firms the skin. Moisturizers like Irish moss and mallow along with the powerful nutrients like green tea and the whole grape contain antioxidants in the form of vitamins C and E, and the calcium PCA helps your skin regain its roll to carry on as a barrier.
Body cleansers tend to be less drying than bar soaps. Shower gel does not leave a residue on the skin like a bar soap, therefore the chance of irritation or dryness is greatly reduced. If you find that every time you shower your entire body begins to itch, either for a brief period of time or longer, first you might consider an allergy or sensitivity to some or one of the ingredients. However, you should also check out the possibility of either your laundry detergent or fabric softener creating this problem. The chemicals used in fabric softeners are heat activated and when you towel dry a little of the softener could rub off on your skin causing the itching. Using what they call laundry free detergents might make a difference. If you overheat while you sleep the same chemicals in your sheets and pillowcases can be a problem if you have dry, sensitive or acne-prone skin.

This is far less care and attention. They are also subjected to much more rigorous tasks, especially to much more washing. Hence, hands may need as much, if not more, protection and moisture as our faces. It is a fact that hands are considered the great “give away” of age.
